Deutsche Bank honored by W!SE for longstanding partnership

Deutsche Bank was honored at the 2021 W!SE Virtual Gala for the Bank’s innovative partnership over the past 20 years. W!SE provides financial education and college and career readiness programs to students, educators and underserved adults.

The award recognized Deutsche Bank for its curriculum development and teaching of Modern Finance to hundreds of high school students and its hackathon, which involved 120 employees in 15 teams from technology and infrastructure who spent three days collaborating, designing, and developing prototypes of a financial literacy app. Following the hackathon, a core Deutsche Bank team spent more than 400 hours in bringing the app to the launch stage. The app prepares high school students for W!SE’s nationally recognized Financial Certification Exam.
