Art 21: Season 8 World Premiere
Deutsche Bank sponsored the launch and world premiere of Season 8: Art In The 21st Century at the Metrograph Theater in downtown New York City.
This award-winning video series invites viewers behind the scenes and up close with artists who are forging new territories and definitions of contemporary art. Focused on four artists in four major cities across the Americas, viewers experience in-depth conversations with each of the artists as we observe them in their daily practice.

Los Angeles - Edgar Arceneaux, Diana Thater, Liz Larner, Tala Madani
Chicago - Theaster Gates, Chris Ware, Barbara Kasten, Nick Cave
Mexico City - Natalia Almada, Minerva Cuevas, Damián Ortega, Pedro Reyes
Vancouver - Stan Douglas, Brian Jungen, Liz Magor, Jeff Wall
The series, which airs intermittently on PBS television, is hosted by award-winning actress Claire Danes. ART21 is a celebrated global leader in presenting thought-provoking and sophisticated content about contemporary art, and the go-to place to learn first-hand from the artists of our time.
