Deutsche Bank enhances parental leave benefits in Middle East & Africa

Deutsche Bank announced an enhanced parental leave policy for its employees across the Middle East & Africa, reinforcing its commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace. Effective January 1, 2025, the new policy ensures that employees, regardless of gender, have the time and flexibility they need to focus on their families during significant life events.

Supporting new parents and shared parenting responsibilities

The new policy offers:

• Up to 26 weeks of fully paid leave for primary caregivers of newborns or newly adopted children.
• Up to 2 weeks of fully paid leave for non-primary caregivers, acknowledging the importance of shared parenting.
• Paid leave for employees experiencing miscarriage, providing time for physical and emotional recovery.

By prioritising work-life balance and inclusive policies, the bank continues to invest in the well-being of its employees, ensuring they have the flexibility to navigate important life moments with confident and security.
