Deutsche Bank earns Platinum Employer status in Australian Workplace Equality Index
Deutsche Bank has been recognised as a Platinum Employer for the second consecutive year in the Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI), highlighting its commitment and ongoing efforts to foster an inclusive work environmental for all.
The AWEI is the only national benchmark solely dedicated to LGBTQI inclusion in Australia, driving best practice and setting a comparative benchmark for employers across all sectors.
Platinum Employer recognition highlights the material work and progress undertaken by the bank during the assessment period.
Reflecting on the outstanding result, Deutsche Bank Australia’s CEO and dbPride Executive Sponsor Glenn Morgan said: “Each year, the AWEI index gives us an opportunity to reflect on what we have achieved, while also considering how we are going to take our efforts in support of the LGBTQ community to the next level. I am incredibly proud that we have once again obtained Platinum status, placing us in the top tier of employers nationally and recognising the outstanding work of our local dbPride team.
"Our dbPride Committee and its network play a crucial role in driving our diversity and inclusion agenda. We also acknowledge that our journey towards a fully inclusive workplace continues.
