Deutsche Bank appoints Annett Viehweg as Chairwoman of the Board, Deutsche Bank Ltd Russia

Deutsche Bank has announced the appointment of Annett Viehweg as Chairwoman of the Board, Deutsche Bank Ltd Russia.

Viehweg has most recently been Head of Global Network Banking for Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Deutsche Bank where she was responsible for managing the teams and Deutsche Bank’s business with multi-national corporates in nine countries. Viehweg has devoted more than 15 years of her career to Deutsche Bank in Russia. She held several positions related to coverage of international companies in Russia and Russian corporate clients.  

Viehweg replaces Joerg Bongartz, who was Chairman of the Board, Deutsche Bank Ltd Russia, since 2006. Deutsche Bank announced in September that Bongartz would relocate to Frankfurt and assume a senior role for the Central and Eastern European business of Deutsche Bank.

Kees Hoving, Chairman of the Supervisory Board Deutsche Bank Ltd Russia, and Head of Global Transaction Banking EMEA, said: “Joerg has made a strong contribution to developing and expanding Deutsche Bank’s business in Russia.
